The therapeutic healing of

having a cat in your life.

Feeling its soft fur on your hand.

And hearing him or her

purr in sheer ecstasy.

And looking deep into they're big

beautiful eyes.

And knowing they love and trust

you whole heartly without a doubt.

They are your wake up call, every

morning without fail for food.

And love to come to sit on your lap

and snooze.

They make you laugh with their

antics and those crazy half hours

they have a time.

Yet other times you catch them

singing and talking away.

I must admit. I would be lost without

our little cheeky bugger. He gives me smile.

And gives me loving hugs other times.

Just so cute to just watch him

sleep and play in general.

Without doubt cats have therapeutic healing powers, but then so do dogs. It has been proven scientifically that health and the prevention of loneliness can occur when you have a pet. We are about to get a new kitten on Friday for our Beth's 18th birthday. She doesn't know so there will be much excitement. A present from her big brother, but as she lives with us, we will get the benefits too. Lovely poem Dawn

I have a dog and I can absolutely relate.

He is wonderful and loves the heck out of me. And I him.

That lovely Ana, dogs are fun charactors also. We had a dog when younger. And loved to roll in the mud and when it was time to go home, after long walk. Oh what a job to get her on her lead as she was having to good a time.
