Windows to our soul & World

Windows to our soul & World

A Poem by Onlyme

Our eyes are the windows to our soul.
When someone is lonely or distressed
it shows in their eyes. As they are dark,
scared and empty.

When someone is in love they are joyously
filled with uplifting spirit and joy. And light up a
room.

When someone is angry they are filled with
a red mist. The emits with their rage from their lips.

Thoughtful eyes. Radiate goodness and tranquillity
as does calm and relaxation.

Our world without vision would be hard to comprehend
fully.

yep! sure would ... i always marvel at Helen Keller's accomplishments ... how does one teach such a person .. being deaf we have to learn words ... being blind we have to see the colors ... sometimes i close my eyes when going from here to there (not more than ten feet) to see if i get there without looking .. say.. to turn the hall light on or something .. i wonder what i would be without sight ... knowing the importance of our eyes ... i think the opening cliche' works because of the humanness and warmth of what follows ..i lingered on the tranquility ;)

you nailed this well
I liked it
I like the way you see life black and white no inbetween
I tend to see life through rose coloured glasses lol which gets me into a lot of trouble in the past believe me
but maybe seeing life through your eyes like you do would benefit me. being more realistic good work dawn hope you are well
