Best clown at the circus.

Smile even though your heart is breaking.

Smile even though you just want to cry.

Smile even though all you feel is the pain

and sadness.

As smiling takes less effort than a frown.

Does to produce it on your face.

Smiling fills your sadness with a bit

of happiness, with that etched upon your face

instead.

We all fake it at times. Putting on that false

smile to hide our true feelings from others.

Even though our spirit is low.

We are the best performers in the circus

called life.

We are the clowns. Putting on a show of a lifetime.

Nicely Done
I always get a laugh when I am visiting my local Doctor
She always smiles and says "Hello, how are you"
I always smile back and say "Fine thankyou"
Which, of course, I am not, or I wouldn't be there to see her!!
