Accepting all

They say you can die from

a broken heart.

If the person you loved passes

away.

As you miss them that much?

I do believe that myself.

As I love my soul mate

even though at times

he drives me mad.

And like us all he has

his flaws.

I accept and that is him.

 Life is so uncertain at times,

from one day to the next.

But love gives you hope,

a true friend, lover and

someone you can just be

you with no matter your

mood

No soppy Mills and Boon books

just truth.

When you find that right person

for you.

sound wisdom Dawn ... how tragic too many couples break up for rather flimsy reasons ... we all are both good/bad strong/weak etc etc.... its the commitment and hanging in that brings the bliss and comfort ;) of course i am not denying all the very real reasons for people to split up as there are many and valid indeed .. an old woman who lived next door to us when i was younger passed away for just such a reason (we all said) broken hearts can do it .. i have no doubt ..your poem has given me much to reflect on this morning and on into me day today .. thanks for sharing!
