Slow the Pace Down..... & enjoy each others company more.

This modern world

is moving far too quickly

where most young folk

and older mature couples

too.

Just want to make out

and have sex.

Don't get me wrong,

intimacy and sexual

intercourse is

wonderful and great.

But what about slowing

down

the pace and

actually getting

to know someone.

By talking,

communicating

and learning

what they are

all about in general.

Their likes and dislike

and so forthwith.

Sexual encounters

are not the be all and end

all of everything.

Sometimes just talking

and taking your time,

laughing and having a good

time together outwith the

physical connection is

a wonderful thing too.

Just saying. And, no iam

not a prude.

I like nookie too.

This just made me howl with laughter. I guess, if I am honest, I was thinking well making slow love is good too! I am sure you are talking about the imperative when two people meet to get into bed and I agree with you, get to know someone. On the other hand sometimes getting the first 'nookie' as you eloquently call it, out of the way clears the decks for things to either die or blossom. You raise some interesting questions in your writing. PS glad you like 'nookie'!
