The unexpected arrangement

By the light of the silvery moon,

they walked hand in hand

around the city streets

looking for prey.

But seeing none yet.

They walked up quite alleys ways.

And came across the odd

homeless person asleep in a cardboard

boxes and in sleeping bags.

But decided they are easy prey

so they left them alone.

Eventually, they found

 a club that was open late.

They hung around outside
and started to kiss passionately

to blend into the environment more.

As just a snogging couple from leaving

said club.

Every now and again

they would stop

and casual look around

to see who was coming out.

And would stop

and have a chat and an odd cigarette.

Eventually, they saw a young man

that fit their profile perfectly.

He was tall, handsome and dark.

They secretly followed him for a distance.

And as he cut through a desolate graveyard

the girl pounced and bit him on the neck.

But be known to her.

He was already one of them. A vampire.

Just after the initial blood sucking puncture.
She realized she could read his mind.

And  levitate him and have no need to hold him close

to continue her attack on him.

And in return, he became more powerful

and realized he could contain more blood

from more humans in general.

A win-win situation.
So every 3 months they decided to meet up again.

To top up on their new arrangement

they discovered by chance.
