A little bit of happiness

a tender touch of joy

by holding each other's hands.

A protective arm to wrap around

your body to keep you

close and warm.

A loving kiss

upon your sweet soft cheek

or red rosy lips.

That warms your heart

and inner core.

That look of love

within your eyes

as you gaze into mine

I blush and smile

and look away.

That butterfly feeling

in the pit of your stomach.

Your soul mate,

friend and lover.

Combined into that

the great person alive.

We all seek and crave

a little love

a warm heart

to rest against

our very own.

And to snuggle up within

the cold and dark nights.

To be there in good times and bad.

Someone who understands us

expects us for who we are.

Including our faults and flaws.

But loves us unconditional

no matter what.

But never expect someone who

treats you mean or bad.

As all you are doing is stopping

that true love from coming along

meeting you and being your number one.
