Expressing Oneselve..

I do believe poetry and writing in general.

Get to the real you,

deep inside you.

and lets you express it

and who you are more so

bring it out more and more

with each new write.

Even if it's just to

write sci-fi stories

or maybe a romantic novel

To even a naughty limerick.

Or just a cute straight forward poem.

It reaches to the depths of your sanctum

of who you are

deep beliefs and desires

as well as your worse fears.

And lets you explore and express them

full for you.

It lifts the lid and the mask of just what is on

the surface and digs deeper with each write

and the expression you make.

You are no longer hiding behind that mask.

Hidden from the crowd.

I like this thought flow Dawn and i agree wholeheartedly... I am the bunny but the bunny is me, more i think. When i write he teaches me... he shows me things i forgot he makes me see my thoughts and then upon examination he shows me the folly's and the hidden wisdom within them. So i couldn't agree more dear Dawn

i wish Sylvia Plath could have read this....when she wrote "The Bell Jar" she hid behind a pseudonym ....
she wouldn't lift the mask...we too often hide behind monikers...and although we may express the real us...will anyone ever know that?
