Revolution

Revolution

A Poem by Alaysia
"

My intake on the French Revolution

"

a.      Bold blue jays shared a beating heart

The world was corrupted

And their bodies needed strength to survive

These birds were spared, just barely

No makeup could cover the scars,

Cut like razor sharp X’s,

And would forever label them as survivors

b.     Everywhere was nowhere when darkness claimed

Insanity

But sunshine cleansed the most depraved

Hearts

Purple flames were resistant and ate the royal

There was nothing, not even sunshine that would

Cleanse these beings

They approved blue jays as suitable sacrifices

--The privileged"

And set chaos to the night
