I Am An Object

I Am An Object

A Poem by ostanhope

I am an object.

I am reminded

It’s of course

Not your fault

It is mine.

I wore the tight jeans

Making my legs the only thing

You care about.

I am reminded

It is not your fault

I wore the cropped t-shirt

That made my breasts the only thing

You see

When you speak to me.

I am reminded

Everyday

I am an object

Due to my choices.
