What is love,

love is holding your fathers hand when your scared

love is the words of advice only a mother can give. 

love is holding your newborn baby.

love is family standing strong together.

love is the smile on your childrens face.

love is always taking place with out knowing

love is caring for those who cared for you.

love is letting go to see them through

love is a guiding hand to help you walk

my love is all of these and more.

i first knew love the day my babies were born.

i love the poem it explores everything about love not just the romantic one but also the love existing in all people towards family, children and others. I especially love the last line, there is nothing compared to the happiness of giving birth to children whom you love more than life itself and being a mother to them and raising them right and the best that you can,,, i am getting sentimental again.
