Metaphoric Coffin

Metaphoric Coffin

A Poem by otaku-chan

I'm inside this coffin
Made of sparkling glass
I pound and pound
and fissures form
with strings of colorful cracks
This one's crimson
These are black
And here
one forms a noose
But outside, some people lurk
Ignorant of my pain
I scream until my throat goes dry
I scream until it bleeds
I whimper
cough
and pound some more
New cracks are in the glass
More black
Some blue
The noose falls from the "sky"
I cry and beg for them to see
It's hopeless at it's best
There's no knight in shining armor
Do I do it
do I not
How do I make them notice
If they can't help
then what's the point
How do I save myself?
