Typical Teenage Crush

Typical Teenage Crush

A Poem by Kouhou Mei
"

What a stereotypical, yet true, teenager's crush is like. For a girl, I mean.

"
Omg, who is that?
That cute guy in the baseball cap.
He's coming this way.
No wait, he's walking away.

Oh, God, that's him right there.
Why's he spinning in Ms. A's spinning chair?
He's coming this way!
No, wait. He's walking away.

He's playing baseball outside.
He's pitching with all of his might.
Is he coming this way?
Nope. He's walking away.

Is that the man in the baseball hat?
He's hugging a girl, what's up with that?!
He's coming this way.
Oh, but now I'm walking away.

I've never really written a poem before. I think this is pretty amateur myself. Oh well. At least I enjoyed writing it.

I liked the story, and I also liked that she realized that he wasn't for her at the end. There are too many love stories where they like kill themselves or hate everything because the other person doesn't love them back. Great poem, I thought it was fine. I liked the repetition.
