night and day

needs some tightening up....some other time

Life fades into night

slowly

not into oblivion

because oblivion is too far

rather,

life leaves much like the sun fades

    a glance, a passing mention

completely taken for granted

and without notice

 

but peaking around our raised hands

hidding behind our visors

a battle persues

    night maticulously wrestles 

    each fletting ray

    into absolute death

blackness ensues

 

and yet,

we take little heed

 

as years pass

the wisdom becomes dilluted

scattered

and drained into barren fields

 

and we carry on

more ignorant then ever

waiting for the sun to rise
