A Stage Play by Owais Ashraf

He tends to deliver a million issues
A million rhymes after he broods
"Thomas, we'll make this world a better scene, a better place"
Sharp words, strong words, emotions as bullets
Denouncing the people, he saw, converged.

Speaking against things he hated
Standing against conventions
Unlike the masses, he stood with no fear, as they say .
With no fear?
With nothing , so no fear.

A shine in the eyes, shoulders lifted, walking with exactitude
"He's different, doesn't go by regimes", isn't he?
"He will make a change", guaranteed Fred.
"I think he will".

In his flair, walking down the life
At the crossroads now he was
Got hands on his convergence, was he happy?
Of course he was, as he craved, in him elation.

"Aren't you going to deliver today"?
"Make yourself at comfort, sit back Thomas" he said
" But we planned for a change, we planned by a promise" Thomas half broken
"I'll see you at the dine " were the words he left.
