Romeo And Juliet

Romeo And Juliet

A Poem by Georgia

Wishing on a star,
Praying to god, too.
None of them make a difference,
Dreams don’t come true.

From the day it started out,
‘Til the day of tragic end.
In our hearts, we both knew,
You were nothing but a friend.

The parents disapproved,
That’s when it all went wrong.
Like Romeo and Juliet,
But our love didn’t last that long.

Banned from seeing you,
I had no choice but to go.
But I’m still loving you this much,
And you will never know.

I’ve cried the whole morning,
Just can’t bare for us to part.
The love might not have been that strong,
But you’re now always in my heart.

People thought I was crazy,
To love someone like you.
Yet I knew from the very first day,
It was the start of something new.

I tried so hard to make it work,
And it was and did ‘til now.
But because it’s all over,
It’s our time to take a bow.

I’ll never forget the love you gave,
The way you used to act.
All I know is I’ll still love you
And that’s the all-true fact.
