funny how even strangers ask if it's ok

while he, who you trusted,

took your no for yes

funny how men tell me to do things

they would never say to their

sister or mother

funny how the same girl friends

who had no sympathy for me

cry when touched at a club

funny how  I cannot decide which is worse:

society telling me to move on

or the church telling me to forgive and move on

funny how people who know what happened

ask why I don't go to church

even though he's there
