ATTACKED

Experiencing the pain of being betrayed by someone you love takes courage. But in the after mass of the battle you left helpless. Sometimes you just feel Attacked.

Shaken, beaten, and destroyed by love

Bruised and scarred as if I have been abused with a club

Need some help to pick up the pieces

Time heals all wounds, but currently I only feel times ripples and creases

 

Death....Heart dead, killed by you

Emotionally barren, not knowing what to do

Oxygen passes by but lungs refuse

Feelings incomplete and no longer of use

 

Broken, taken, rejected so much

Requiring your affection; desiring your  touch

fear dwells deep-deeper than is known

Now y bed is cold and I no longer feel at home

 

Doom, despair- A black, dark void

Can't help feeling pissed off and annoyed

Turning and twisting, unable to sleep

Constantly falling, life ending without your keep

 

Held, let go- now left to waste

No longer can have you, you left with much haste

Dreams destroyed-no longer can have a vision so good

Could let go, would let go, but don't think I should

 

 

Devastated, emotional- hanging my head

Knowing no mercy, wishing to be held

Long lasting pain dealt out at your hand

Love has become the enemy, from this heart- banned

 

Turmoil, conflicted, at a loss for words

Confused by the feeling of being a bug being eaten by a bird

Confused by the affection that you gave

Now with a crushed heart, don't know how to behave

  

Shattered, battered- Having no shield

You were relentless, destroying me- No yield

People attempt at resurrection and healing

But none of the ideas seem appeasing

 

Shaken, beaten, destroyed- lifeless from that

has been stabbed, slashed- ultimately ATTACKED
