Oh, poet

Oh, poet

A Poem by Mica L. Bennett

Oh, poet
Cold and dead.
What was hidden
in your head.

Oh, poet
six feet down.
Your words written
that make one frown.

Oh, poet
famous now.
Death's the ticket
to fame, how?

Oh, poet
why'd you leave
leaving us in
disbelief.

Oh, poet
quiet and still.
Your death is
Our biggest thrill.
