(Intro) Adaversum Chronicles

Sometimes I imagine the stories the world would tell if she had a voice of her own. What insights and knowledge she would share. Perhaps that's our true purpose. We were put here to convey her message.

Somewhere we lost our way, and began to use our skills to spin our own tales. We had become so involved in ourselves that we forgot about her. We forgot that we were just a small chapter. Bound by time in her finite story.

Mortality is the light that shines down on the living to reveal its beauty, and the awareness of time brings a euphoria unmatched by any substance in the universe.  

It is the awareness of time that sets us apart from machines. Time is what gives all things a story, but time itself is bound by law. It too will learn of mortality. When the ear grows 

weak and weary.

When it is forgotten, and the universe grows quiet once again.
