Spirit of the night

As I walk on the sands

Along the gigantic sea

The street lights glimmer

At a distance harbour

 

Tall waves dance on the shores

Mesmerised by the galactic show

Reaching for the enchanting sky

Feeling as if in gods abode

 

The million stars glitter

Like cosmic city lights

Lay in between the Milky Way

Like a tiara on this spinning orb

 

The summer moon shining blue

Like a heavenly nightingale

Seduced by its own beauty

Reigns the sky, like its dynasty

 

The wind blows so sweet

Across the cold beach

So soft, full of grace

Forever leaving behind, its trace
