That Day

This is a poem about nostalgia from a year ago and how I'm so glad that I did everything I way I did it!

That Day

I'll never forget

That day.

September 16th

The day when my life changed.

From boring,

To magical.

That day,

Fairytales became real,

Anything seemed possible.

The sadness and tears

Simply disappeared.

That was the day life became a dream.

The day I became a princess and met

My Prince Charming.

The day I started to trust again.

If I didn't respond to his message,

If I didn't try that website,

If I did anything differently

On that day,

Then I might not be

Nowhere near as happy as I am today.

Nice. It's amazing how we can get so down when things go wrong, but rarely marvel at all the possibilities and events that went into something good happening. If your internet was down, couldn't be bothered logging on, something came up, turned left instead of right. The possibilities are endless, and here you are, happy. the odds of that all going right were probably bigger than winning the lotto. So enjoy :-)

Thanks a lot for reading :) Yeah it is amazing how things work out. I believe everything happens for a reason and how things went make me stick by that point! He and I also didn't think fate seemed logical, but how we met really seems like fate (as silly as it sounds) haha.
