A Poem by paul

trees growing wild
the sun's great big smile

trees growing wild

open everydoor
waves upon the shore

open
every door

beyond the garden's gate

flowers wait

for eyes
to be seen

open up the sky
it's really not that high

open
up the sky

one two three
everythings impossible to me

the air the shore the sea

waves upon the water

the sea's the sky's daughter
waves upon the sea.

. wow, yet another sparkling solitaire from your repertoire of wind rhymes ... the way this series of poems is inextricably fused is the dream skill destination of any poet ... anyone ... across time ... geographies and talent ... and about this one ... my heart is in my mouth ... as i travel with the wind ... and when i see flowers ... i cannot but smile ... you redefine the horizon that i see from the shore ... by connecting the sea and the sky in a sublime relationship ... and the expression of the sun's smile in the wild greens ... is breathtakingly beautiful ... you weave a labyrinth of surreal thoughts and whirlpools of beautiful images ... what can one do but drown in these words ... and smile a million miles ... exquisite work, paul ...

'beyond the garden's gate

flowers wait'

and they do indeed - for they've never been discovered in a poem as sparking as this - they've never been seen - not the way they're seen right now - and the 'waves upon the sea' - they never really understood the meaning of their existence - until came a poet so inspired - and so skilled - as to call out to them - in a language they understood - a language that stood out - in the din of the mundane - a language that is - as unique and spectacular - as their beauty itself - you speak - and they all listen - in a still silence - the waves, the skies, the stars and the flowers - they listen - and they etch - smiles on their souls - smiles that only a blessed soul could inspire - and as they smile - they fling prayers to the heavens - and they resound - in the abysmal here and now - and they carve - a surreal - tomorrow!!
