A Mother's Love

A Mother's Love

What is stronger than a mother’s love?
The huge sun or the stars above?

What is as powerful as a mother’s bond?
A huge elephant or crocs in a pond?

What is the thing that keeps mothers going?
With all of that love and all that sewing?

How do they do this and still stay afloat?
Weighing them down like a huge fur coat?

Is it the same power that drives me to write?
About this mother that is a beautiful sight?

What can break this powerful thing?
Absolutely nothing.

Again, a wonderful Mother's Day piece! Great job! This poem was a little bit more serious than the first mother poem, and that appealed to me a little more. : )
