Darling, Sweetie, Honey, Pumpkin.

Darling, Sweetie, Honey, Pumpkin.

A Poem by Peanut Albert Stowe
"

It may be a bit depressing as it focuses on the topic on depression.

"
"Darling, it can't be that bad you know,
It's all in your head,
Just stop being so sad,
Just lie down and go to bed."

I'm sorry that I'm to sad for you,
I feel terrible,
It doesn't just go away like that,
It just becomes bearable.

"Sweetie, all you have to do is smile,
It's easier than frowning you know,
Just be happy for once,
Please for me, have a smile to show."

What if I don't want to smile,
What if I need to allow myself time,
Please don't tell me "to be happy for once",
I want to, I really do. It doesn't happen at the flip of a dime.

"Honey, I liked you better back when we met,
What happened to you?
Why'd you change?
Now you always seem so blue."

Well then leave,
I'm not the same, ok?
Can't you just support me and not be mad?
I'll change, I swear it'll happen one day.

"Pumpkin, I know everything seems so hard.
I'm here for you,
I hope you really know,
I love you, don't you have a clue."

Don't be, please
Everyone who gets close gets hurt,
I wish you didn't care,
Because then I could just leave,
And no one would stare.
