I THINK I SHALL TURN AGAIN

I THINK I SHALL TURN AGAIN

A Poem by penchantpoet
"

a reflective poem - about making changes in one's life

"

I think I shall  turn again...

Back to the border of my line "

Between the pressing and the passing

          of so much precious time

Time which people waste

That I still hold as mine.

I think I shall return again

               To the safest inner land.

To  the  drift and silent sifting

 The eternally shifting sand.

I think I shall turn again

To the ebbing and the flow

To the rippling in and edging out

Of the soft waters of my soul.

I think I shall turn again

              To sing another song

              Memories can be

            Expunged!  Effaced!

 And suddenly   -

They’re  gone...
