Penguins

Penguins

A Poem by Jessica
"

This was for my creative writing class. Plus I love penguins.

"

Penguins never take flight,

They are black and white,

They slip and slide down the ice,

And are not always nice,

They see danger in whales and Leopard Seals,

In hopes they don’t become their meals,

When they fish,

Its like a swish-swish,

From the winter storm,

They keep their eggs warm,

In spring when chicks hatch,

The seagulls always try to snatch,

In the summer they are bait,

Before the fall when they mate.
