Jacob Wrestling with an Angel

Jacob the old testament patriarch wrestled with an angel never letting him go till he is blessed.

Jacob wrestling with an angel as an idiom means never letting go of circumstances no matter how hard life is.

I am Jacob wrestling with an angel never letting go till I am financially blessed.

Rain an Epiphany

The clouds are grey and swollen. Soon, a chorus of rain pours as metaphors from the sky. Thunder is growling like a ferocious dog. The feeling of hearing the rain pour is an epiphany, an art akin to music. The earth has become a wet swimming pool. I am in a reverie, hearing the celestial gush of water. I offer my dreams as an oblation to the rain. The earth is a wet chalice, smelling like a new born babe’s hair. The sound of rain is a poetic music, a lullaby of melodies. The leaves of the tree are rhyming a poem with the wind blowing against them. The earth is a sonata, a moving passion of poetry.
