Fool

Fool

A Poem by Periac

onward piped the dancing grasses
underfoot by shuffled folly
draped masonic with clever sasses
pussyfoot entrance to jolly

hanging a tired glance from the bell pull
woeful masquerade then sunset lull

jingles haunted under the fools hat
lest the silence burdened
clamor
