desire

desire

A Poem by Periac

during the duration of dusk

in familiar faults

vault

upon this stool in drunken lust

confer the conifers

a jest of fire with a minty curse

desired

out loud I'm allowed to remain proud

by a distilled morning under autumns clouds

when the day breaks I'll swear

I'm the only one here

fate believes me when I lie

familiar faults

vault

we are birds in God's sky

handshaking heraldry

hidden in hamlets

A poem I couldn't create but a poem that i love to be entertain by is what you created. This is "Tiger Woods" level. I am just a regular golfer hoping he doesn't show up for a tournament and hoping someone reads my boring poems. I really this piece.

fate believes me when I lie
familiar faults
vault
we are birds in God's sky
handshaking heraldry
hidden in hamlets

Verses like this takes you into orbit.

P, I gotta tell ya....you need to write more. :) I love this! LOVE it. Desire...hum, so many facets of it. I love your harsh edge to this. It's almost a mockery. Well done my friend. :)
