MEANDERING THOUGHTSA Poem by Peter RogersonWe'll always be together, my lady love and me....We
were there together
At the very birth of time, Or so it seems each morning When the bells of dawning chime.
Hand in hand together Past both joy and bitter strife We are as one, and timeless, One person and one life.
There was a time, they tell me, In a mystic shadow land Before we met and something Neither of us planned Drew us close together, Hand in blessed hand.
And now, my own beloved, In these special siamese days We’ll stay as one, and timeless Down shadowed living ways.
And when the age has passed us And the god of ending sings We’ll be there together At the closing down of things.
