Ludicrous Display

Ludicrous Display

A Poem by petty102

What a ludicrous display --

Your weakness is showing!

Your infantile demeanor,

Your soft

Vacant

Head

Look at what you’ve done to yourself!

Protruding thoughts:

A plague

You claim you’re doing better --

You claim your mind is together --

but I

Protest.

She laughed at you too,

She laughed as she crooned

What a coward, she said

to me

And so simple!

So vapid!

So dull.

I nodded to her

And opened my eyes,

And I said:

What a loser!

What a nerd!

What a gibbering ignorant

fool

And she and I

And I and her,

Went arm in arm

Away from you

While you died

On our

Shoes.
