Enter the Fields

Enter the Fields

A Poem by pheasant

One man's dream is another's folly
Heading into the realms of all he
Knows not

Opening doors into heart and mind
When he seeks... Will he find
A spot

To blanket the scars, the aches and pains
The basking of time upon the remains
And join the Sun, the Moon, the Stars
And enter the fields... Beyond the bars

The last paragraph is astounding. The question moving on from all that suppresses to live a more fulfilled life. Instead of running away from the pain but absorbing and learning from it joining the rest of the universe. Thought provoking. "To blanket the scars" incredible line!
