Proclivity for Love

Love is divine,
complicated, beautiful
a life without
incomplete, inscrutable

no higher highs,
nor lower lows,
tides of love
peaks and troughs

a challenging task
letting souls entwist
but to love, be loved.
our greatest gifts

fear vanquished
sorrows be slain
whilst the grip of love
holds it reign

in this reign
we find solace
life is a verse
love is our chorus
