Under Midnight's sky

Under Midnight's sky

A Poem by phil
"

A poem of the night

"
Under Midnight's sky
The raven gave a cry
Shrill and deep as oak
Caa-caa, caa-caa it croaked

Then raven upped and flew
Into sky, deep eerie blue
Silhouted by the full moon
The echo of the cry gone so soon

Under Midnight's sky
The wolf gave a cry
Howl, howl  it went
It's nighttime message sent

And off the wolf went and ran
To join it's fellows, the wolf clan
The pack now full, the pride
Howling, mouths awide

Under Midnight's sky
The mouse did cry
Prey for the owl above
Who still had to eat enough

Down the owl swept
The mouse leapt
Unwittingly into the claws
Of the owl, ready to gnaw

Under Midnight's sky
All the night animals did cry

I really enjoyed this. Great, constructively written piece.
