The One

A love deeper than most can feel...true love.

When they all left, you stood alone

Caring, loving me as I had no one

And in that moment, I'd realized

You're the one.

Your eyes, like stars

Lit up my lonely nights.

Your voice, like music

Provided me a shelter to reside in.

You, like a hurricane

Came into my life making me

Question everything and everyone else.

Why did I ever love anyone else?

What is it about you?

Why do I feel like you're the one?

You're one look killed me inside

And filled me with unexplainable happiness.

All I knew was I loved you,

And I wanted you,

And I needed you.

And here I am, pouring my heart out.

Telling you

That I can't go about without you.

And that you have my heart,

And that I never want it back.

It's been a long time since I've written anything before and I know this is not my best but I tried to convey my emotions
