is a tale of the many faces of love

Depiction of love

Love has many faces  

Many reasons for the word

In fact I think more meanings

than I have even heard

 

our first introduction

to love that you will have

is with the first two people

that you call mum and dad,

 

then you may have siblings

brothers, sisters, many, few,

the amount it does not matter,

they still mean the world to you,

 

you’ll love your aunts and uncles

 cousins, nieces, nephews too

you may not see them everyday

but still there close to you

 

you'll also love an animal

your families or your own

or even one you've rescued

from a shelter and gave a home

 

love’s also felt for friendships

in our life they'll come and go

but some friends become so special

that a love for them will grow

 

everyone loves children

it’s the strongest love you’ll feel

 they do not have to be your own

too know this loves appeal

 

we have a love of nature

trees mountains surf or sand

the sky becomes the limit

for the love of this great land

 

some people love there gadgets

like computers pads and phones

they have the capability

to send people to separate zones

 

this poems gives interpretation

to many meanings of one word

but there is none that is more powerful

and means the same across the world
