The red skirt

The red skirt

A Poem by Picture of Poetry
"

What phantom follow you?

"

As I walk across

the wooden floor,

the long red phantom

makes me look as though

I am skating on a sheet

of cold, white ice.

When I spin around,

it whirls around me

ending, with a tight grip

around my thin pixy legs.

It loves to show off

when a whisper of wind

glides past me.

It twists and turns

like a vine if ivy.

It runs and plays

like an innocent child

on a sunny day.

It is my red skirt.

Aw, this was really lovely! =) Such great and fantasyeque description for something as simple as a skirt. I definitely enjoyed reading this, one of my favorites from you!
