A Humble Prayer

Written for a woman's husband & family at a time of desperate need

Heavenly Father please hear this quiet prayer

On bended knee I ask for your mercy of care

Guide this man to where he needs to be

Under your omnipotent watchful eye

Keep him safe within your loving embrace

From this night bring him home unharmed

Back to the fold of his families blessed grace

Written during a woman's plea for prayers as she waits word on whether her husband has survived a deadly gas explosion out in the oil fields of Louisiana.
