Free At Last

Free At Last

A Poem by Megan Harris

we lie down in reckless decadence
the sound of wavering remission
and a heart filled confession
of love lofting above our heads
flying into the clouds of the night
said with a tongue that hid inside a kiss
the words were spoken
ties were broken -
love was free
the bells rung
our bodies sung
love is free
love is free.

Such a blissful little write... I think love can make you feel free for it releases feelings in you that you never knew existed allowing you to do things you never thought possible.
