Soldiers

Soldiers

A Poem by Shawna

The blade sleek in it's glory
A samurai, a warrior
They tell the same story
Cast out and made a fool
Different, alone
Sudden loss of all control
Blood drips as they seek revenge
Death, explanation
A way to change the bitter end
From childhood to expiration
Hatred, missing
Searching for an explanation
Death never helped him
Coffin, grave
But everyone still speaks of him
Forever his story lives on
Memory, legend
The outcasts' only God
