You Saw, You Knew, You Left

You Saw, You Knew, You Left

A Poem by Allison Eve

You saw my pain

You knew my heart

You saw me chained

Broken and apart

You saw me caged

In this cell

You saw my rage

In this hell

You saw my tears

You walked away

You left me here

Alone to decay

Oh! It flows very good. I think the flow is fantastic. You said it all in very few words and the way you've framed it, it's really impressive and effective. I really liked it a lot!!
Great Job!!

I can't help but to think about how we humans can be so giving and yet we can still walk away from people without care, it is like a double edge sword of sorts. It speaks to people's character as to how they decide to leave someone. Wonderful write from you as always.
