BeatificusA Poem by RaymondoftheWoods20 line poemAh, wounded heart, faltering, failing in swirling robes, fallen to fallen leaves, Your lament's patch and desperate quest of self has come to place of rest at last, The hunt you led, then fled, has ceased with that last summons of horn and blast, While the three tenses of time have paled, and self, no longer self, never grieves. You are arrived to the land, borne by mystery tides after ship's wreck among social ill, Brave enough to be sailor, casting your craft on the reefs and shallows of terrible man, You found hurricane and beast, then broken, foundered, you castaway to drift on time's span, Where secret current, cradling your crippled craft, carried your torn soul and keeled will. I, an early sharer of your physical voyage, then, latterly your spirit's echo, Arrived and awakened myself on yon green altar, a healed, surprised and destined priest, Hover with you now on your erected bier of briar and still form socially deceased, Breathe, Heart, Kiss, Mind; the landscape you have reached is radiant rainbow. Mountain rises, beckoned, then climbed, are high paths of tranquil ascendance, Plains walks, traversed, are of no travail, nor trail of trespassed trait, Ocean voyages are cast on whispering waves of wishes, woven in waterless weight, While the Fairy Poem, composed, created, is the traveled self come to balance. There is a surrender to all peace here, an osmosis of self in pungent, content verse, The heart, beating, knows its magic to fill that once doubted shell, While touch of hand is as lingering look of mind, fingering enchantment, mystery, spell All, all, is encompassed, sense of self, senses of world, all in Single Spiral Universe.
