A Poem by RaymondoftheWoods

14 line poem by 17 year old

"
People say I am Hollow,
Other People say I am Empty,
While Others say I am Brittle.
Little do these critics guess,
That I, Jason, once had a clash and lost,
Little do these same critics
That in I, Jason, Heart, Duty & Ethics battle,
They wonder why I, Jason, am so,
They sneer, they scorn,
They strike with serpent tongue,
But when these same critics clash and lose,
When they are after hollow, empty and brittle,
They shall wonder why fortune has turned on the so badly,
But will, but shall never know as I, Jason.
