Ballad

Ballad

A Poem by RaymondoftheWoods
"

short poem

"
In the deep wood, in the dark wood,
In the forest of the Ghostly Maid,
There came a traveler in a black hood,
To seek for God, the Maid in trade.

In the deep wood, in the dark wood,
The traveler of the black hood lays.
Maid, he had won, life he had given,
And now the Wood be that of Nameless Ways.
