the apartment -
forcing me into mind
less activity. I scrub dishes.
Pale water washes away
crusted thoughts of you.

This poem gives me a feeling of frustration a woman feels with a man who is never home. Unable to get out of the house, or nowhere to go more likely, drives you to a depression and a willingness to part ways. I like this small poem.

The poem paints a picture of a person who has to go through tough times like doing menial work for minimum wage. Good.
