What I'll miss the most

What I'll miss the most

A Poem by p.kuhl
"

I found out today that I have a minor heart condition called PAC. Definitely a hard day.

"
won't be a girl I once loved

or cherished memories of homes I once

knew.

It won't

be the new taste of foods

I'd never had or the thrill of fulfilling a

dream

I spent

years chasing. No,

what I'll miss the most is the mid-

morning

jitters

from my early Americano, the spark of life on my

lips

as I sip

What would the world become

if we had to cut out everything that makes our

hearts

flutter?

Caffeine? Or something more substantial.... This is clever and a bit mysterious. I love the visual structure or non structure, as it were.
