A Poem by p.kuhl

I've been working
on a vapor;
it took years to gather
the precise plasmas and miscellaneous compounds
and even longer, the courage
and here, under the moth-eye moon
my spine expands, my bite extends,
I sharpen. I can smell
you, little one, unaware
and plump, and as my eyes
fade to yellow, your fate
bleeds and bleeds.
