patterns

invincible and recurring

in my dreams

circles and squares

and triangles of

green

pure words

and sweet whispers

at the end of the night

brought light to the darkness

of my masterpiece

so i pinch myself

and try to find a way

but the pinching hurts

and the waking

never occurs

so i shoot myself

in the leg

and proceed to bleed

while my mind

feels your pain

i shoot again

just shy of the heart

the mould you made

it was real and beautiful

still unshattered

i shoot myself

in the head

again and again

bloodshot eyes

and waterfalls

finally

consider yourself pure

and healthy and wise

and those gold encased words

still drift in my eyes
