sad

sad

A Poem by plainme

not even the blanket of cold, that encapsulated her naked silhouette made her stay in the bed

the early morning whispers and muffled cottons against the skin, and a kiss ever so sweet

she left

and now i ponder about what had happened

which words made her leave

our castle of feathers

the soft sensations of skin touching skin

just as the wind rolls over the hills

during the darling spring weather
